At the time of this project, it was a brand under Reckitt Benckiser, a British multinational consumer goods company renowned for its portfolio of trusted health and hygiene brands. Scholl’s mission is to enhance the health, comfort, and well-being of people by caring for their feet through a range of innovative products.

Our work for Scholl focused on enhancing their brand presence and customer engagement on social media. The partnership involved developing a new, interactive Facebook app to support a key campaign. This collaboration aimed to connect with their audience in a modern and engaging way, ultimately strengthening the Scholl brand's digital footprint and fostering greater interaction with consumers.

 

  • Engineered a secure raffle system for the interactive Facebook app: An interactive Facebook application was engineered to function as a raffle system for a specific Scholl campaign. The project was designed as a link to a raffle, with a core technical requirement to prevent duplicate email entries. This initiative aimed to increase brand presence and user interaction on social media while ensuring the integrity of the campaign's data.

  • Developed the receipt upload and validation functionality: A key project requirement was the implementation of a feature allowing customers to upload receipts as proof of purchase for their raffle entry. This functionality was developed to ensure all participants met the campaign's criteria, providing Scholl with a reliable and transparent system for validating entries and managing campaign participants.

  • Developed the data management and export functionality for the raffle system: A crucial part of the project involved developing the necessary backend functionality to manage and export all raffle entries. This ensured that Scholl could easily and securely access all campaign data for their marketing and prize-giving purposes, providing them with a reliable and transparent system for managing campaign participants.

  • Provided expert frontend development for a visually engaging user experience: The team delivered extensive frontend development for the interactive Facebook app, focusing on creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface. This ensured that the campaign was not only functional but also aligned with Scholl's brand identity, providing a polished and professional digital experience for consumers.

  • Ensured a seamless experience with responsive and adaptive design: The Facebook app was built with responsive design principles, ensuring a seamless and optimal experience for users across a wide range of devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. This effort aimed to maximize accessibility and engagement, allowing all users to participate in the campaign regardless of their device.

  • Implemented the campaign backend using the Umbraco platform: The backend of the campaign was implemented using the Umbraco platform, providing a robust and flexible content management system. This technological foundation allowed for efficient management of the app's content and data, ensuring a reliable and scalable solution for the duration of the campaign.
